About Jon M.

I am a Capital Markets Internal Auditor at Fifth Third Bank. In May 2022, I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with specializations in Economics and Finance and a minor in International Studies from The Ohio State University. At Ohio State, I was actively involved in OSU’s Business Scholars Program (“BSP”), Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations (“SCNO”), and the business development organization Phi Gamma Nu (“PGN”), of which I served a term as External Vice President. After graduation, I began my professional career and joined Fifth Third Bank in the Internal Audit Division through the Bank’s Financial Audit Leadership Program in Cincinnati, OH. This two-year development program gave me access to company leadership, provided professional development opportunities, and taught me the practices of internal auditing. I currently serve as a Audit Project Manager specializing in Capital Markets. In this role, I lead audit engagements and execute control testing surrounding the Bank’s Capital Markets audit plan, including auditable entities surrounding the Fifth Third Bank Swap Dealer and Fifth Third Securities (“FTS”) businesses. In January 2025, I earned the Certified Internal Auditor (“CIA”) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors (“IIA”).
