I am a MEP Project Engineer, specializing in the Mission Critical and Healthcare Construction Industries. Since graduating with a bachelor’s in Construction Engineering (Electrical Emphasis), I have helped manage multiple major projects from the throughout the construction phases: Estimating / Pre-Construction, Construction, Commissioning, Punch-List / Close-Out, and Warranty. Currently employed as M/E Engineer at JE Dunn Construction, I am responsible for managing the electrical infrastructure construction and commissioning for Mission Critical Projects.Some of my key successes in recent years include:Project Management• Daily coordination of electrical scopes of work ranging from HV Substation, MV Electrical Distribution, Tenant Office Fit-Out, Security, and Telecommunications. Responsibilities included interaction with Global Mission Critical Client, Owner-Furnished Equipment Providers / Technicians, and Trade Partners.Program Development• Creation of construction schedule template that includes daily sequential activities for data center build to increase integration of QA/QC and commissioning into the construction process.Safety Management• Created Technical Method of Procedure (MOP) and Graphical Documentation for safe de-energization and energization for electrical equipment workflow within commissioning process.Prefabrication and Offsite Construction• Actively participated in Advanced Work Packaging on projects to increase pre-fabrication and modularization.My most satisfying elements of construction is getting to see the drawings come to life and be built as well the growth of camaraderie within the project teams.
