Jon who is known to me from a previous role was employed to provide Specialist Contractual Knowledge and Contract Management to the team. Jon’s specialist knowledge is excellent, and he has supported us with some very difficult and challenging contractual issues. He has good links with NHS England/Improvement, which is clearly useful to those organisations in the healthcare sector. Jon joined us, three-weeks prior to the Lockdown which meant he was unable to undertake the role he had been employed to do. He was very flexible in undertaking work that would not usually fit under his remit. He showed that he could support an organisation during unprecedented circumstances. Jon settled well into the team despite the strange circumstances we found ourselves in. He was punctual, worked flexibly to the needs of the service form both office and home based. Jon also provided some contract training to the team, which has assisted them and myself in our roles. I enjoyed working with Jon, he is pleasant, amicable, and provided good support to me.
