Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers with a wide range of civil engineering experience. Skilled in design for construction, optioneering, detailed design and design management, as well as heavy civil engineering design & temporary works design in the water, aviation, wastewater, energy, commercial, transportation and industrial sectors.Responsible for the Jacobs Site Civil Community of Practice (CoP), incorporating over 1250 of our staff assisting them with professional development, knowledge sharing and design leadership. Site Civil are designers taking responsibility for the design of everything on a project outside of the buildings / structures, coordinating all the other disciplines and facilities as well as working on project design elements such as roadways, landscaping, drainage and utilities and have design skills in site access, structure location, terrain modelling and utilities design. I am a SCE and Mentor for ICE trainees supporting IEng and CEng and have supported >20 candidates through successful professional reviews from the UK and Poland.I am the Chair of the Industrial Advisory Board for the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Manchester providing industry level guidance on the development of the course.I am a global expert in the use of MS Teams for the collaborative delivery of projects by remote teams.
