About Jon Giitter

Jon (Jack) Giitter is a Senior undergraduate student at Saint John’s University in Minnesota studying to achieve a degree in political science and history. While studying at Saint John’s University, Jack ran competitive track and cross country for his first two years and partakes in student senate, mock trial, and pre-law society all throughout his collegiate career. Jack studied abroad in Rome, Italy for the Fall 2024 semester where he is attending classes in the Italian language, history, art, and culture. He is currently working as the Co-Chair of both the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University’s Co-Funding Board to achieve funding for student clubs and is the Board Chair of the Activities and Allocations Board on the Saint John’s Senate which aims to improve the experience of students of Saint John’s University. Jack is currently working as a student worker for Saint John’s University and the College of Saint Benedict’s History Department and the Racial Covenants Project which works with both the University of Minnesota and the non-profit Mapping Prejudice.
