ABOUT JON FRANKS
I am an SC cleared IT Senior Project Manager with both an infrastructure and applications background and 19 years’ experience across public and private sectors in numerous industries but especially Civil Service/Defence, Manufacturing and IT/Cyber Security. Prior to that, my military background in fast jet operations and mission planning taught me to be a thoroughly effective communicator, which I put to good use setting clear objectives to the project teams I lead as well as effective non-technical communication with business stakeholders and clients. I am a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) and MoR Practitioner (Management of Risk) and have previously held ITIL v2 and PRINCE2 Practitioner qualifications.I’m often parachuted into failing projects to reinvigorate delivery, getting things back on track and delivering successful business outcomes. I do this with my technical skills but also my leadership skills, mentoring less experienced people and getting the best out of them. Based in the West Midlands, currently available for senior/project manager contracts or permanent roles within 50 miles of Telford, and would consider relocation.
