I have over 35 years\' experience in claims, encompassing EL, PL, Motor, Medical Negligence, Professional Indemnity, D&O, Cyber, Marine/Cargo, first party domestic/commercial property damage and CAR claims. I work with a wide range of Corporates, Brokers, Adjusters, Solicitors and Insurers on technical and operational claims related matters and deliver consultancy services in the following areas:• Total Cost of Risk (TCOR) reduction methodologies• Technical claims auditing – technical and process review of insurers/claims handlers/TPA/solicitors, detailed reporting and analysis, benchmarking performance, identifying and managing strategies to reduce claims leakage, enhancing communication protocols, claims supply chain management, claims relationship management, reputational management• Attritional claims portfolio management• Technical claims handling and investigation of EL/PL/Motor/PI/med mal claims• Technical large and complex loss support – to include expert selection, evaluation of evidence, review of legal and policy liability, quantum/reserving, engagement with experts, lawyers, Counsel, insurers, clients at all levels, strategy input, meetings and written reports/correspondence• Claims handler/TPA selection processes - evaluation of client needs, strategic management of documentation, processes, selection, appointment and implementation of new TPA to include run-off claims management• Claims defensibility – analysis and provision of risk improvement strategies via generic/specific reviews, technical output reports, remedial recommendations and implementation e.g. training• Loss scenario modelling and policy stress testing – policy and contractual analysis, limits/wording review• Knowledge sharing and training –provision of specialist advice and training• Disease claims consultancy• General claims consultancy support
