ABOUT JON BEVAN
Teacher of Secondary Geography KS3,4 & 5 Subject experience: History KS3, RE KS3 & 4. IPC curriculum to Year 6. Cambridge English and EFL. Business Studies BTEC NQF Level 2. Critical Thinking AS. I have worked in education for 7 years now, with experience of teaching Geography from KS3 through to KS5 as part of a Humanities faculty. I have experience of curriculum design through all of the key stages and the implementation of the new A-level in Geography. In addition to this role, I am an examiner for Edexcel Geography at GCSE level and have given contributions to the recent summer exam series. I have vast pastoral experience in Secondary education as well as my current role as a Sixth Form tutor. I\'m passionate about the environment and am keen to lead upon \'Green\' issues and Sustainable design education within my current Academy role. This involves recycling initiatives, Green space design and reducing energy wastage.
