Description of Duties:• To safeguard and promote InTandem\'s values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, integrity and corporate (social) responsibility • To enable and encourage staff to plan, direct, manage and act in a more inclusive and philosophically acceptable way than simply being focused on profit or costs• To promote and maintain the rules of professional conduct and relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks• To plan, build and develop customer and industry relationships • Overall responsibility for the preparation and implementation of the Health & Safety Policy• Formulation of overall business strategy and implementation planning• To recruit, select, manage, develop and motivate all staff to achieve their full potential• To monitor, measure and report on organisational development plans and progression rates to ensure the achievement of organisational performance• To ensure activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.• To plan, develop and implement strategy for operational management and development so as to meet agreed organisational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales • To plan and manage internal communications and awareness of corporate direction, mission, aims and activities• To maintain and develop organisational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies• To design, engineer and co-ordinate projects• To implement, manage and prioritise the estimating system
