ABOUT JON ARCHER
I manage the Geotechnical Engineering department, CAD and data management capabilities in our Norwich office, with responsibility for business development across the company. With an education to graduate degree level in geography, I have a detailed understanding of the patterns and processes of the earth and built environments. With 20 years of experience in ground investigation, I have built up a wealth of knowledge, primarily in contaminated land and geotechnical assessments, and ground improvement for construction projects.I am responsible for specifying ground investigations, compiling tenders and framework applications. I manage engineers, consultants and technicians, undertaking reports, ground investigations, consultancy, assessments and site activities. Part of my role is to develop our site investigation services and client base. With international employment experience, a background including problem solving, cartography, GIS and teaching, I have developed a strong ability to deliver solutions for clients and colleagues.
