Portland Community College strives to make high-quality education accessible to everyone, creating opportunities for our students and contributing to the economic development of our community. As an adjunct instructor, I specialize in teaching both online and face-to-face courses in Mass Communication & Society, Information Gathering, and Public Speaking. I teach two courses per academic term. Key Achievements:I developed the online version of COMM 228/J 201 Mass Communication and Society, and worked with colleagues to develop the online versions of J 102 Information Gathering and J 103 Writing for the Media. Produced a “Media Detox Video” featuring PCC students (2016) with a PCC grant.Created the Accessibility Protocol for Online Courses (2016) with other colleagues.Generated data and participated in the writing of the journalism assessment report (20••••16)Member of the Academic and Career Pathways Committee (2020)
