As an EIT at Lev-Co, I manage custom industrial ventilation projects from quote to delivery. I serve as the technical lead on assigned jobs, overseeing product configuration, manufacturability, documentation, and on-site installation where applicable. My role blends engineering design with project management and cross-functional coordination.Key responsibilities and accomplishments:• Ownership of the lifecycle of assigned projects: validating BOMs, creating SolidWorks models, releasing drawings, and ensuring procurement and assembly readiness.• Design of sheet metal components and full assemblies for ease of manufacture, weight reduction, and weld-free assembly; currently leading the in-house redesign of a portable fan system for welding.• Development of a standardized file management system across the engineering directory, improving part traceability and document integrity.• Creation and iteration of spec sheets, manufacturing drawings, and installation examples; actively improving drawing clarity through layout, color, and labeling enhancements.• Support on-site installations, acting both as technical lead and hands-on team member — coordinating contractors, resolving real-time issues, and building client rapport.• Collaborate daily with sales, assembly, the CEO, and suppliers to balance design intent, cost, lead time, and operational requirements.
