What I really love to do is help recording artists successfully release their music to highly engaged audiences and then explore all opportunities for them to capitalize on that success commercially. I have a real passion for breaking and building new acts and I thrive on working closely with artists and their management.I started out just over a decade ago in the Australian artists marketing team at Sony Music, where I spent five years and was lucky enough to manage a roster diverse in genres and work on some awesome indie label partnerships which included some of the most exciting artists in the country. I was then snatched up as Head of Recorded Music for an expanding management company - Macro Music - where I worked with a host of different labels and distributors on independent releases for top tier artists, as well as establishing Macro’s merch and live event divisions with the team.Now living in Canada, after stints at a couple of indie labels here, I have established my own music marketing company - Just Really Good - to allow myself the flexibility to work with a roster of artists that I believe in. Core to Just Really Good are my own personal values - I operate with integrity, honesty, kindness and zero tolerance for the bullshit that often comes along with working in this industry.Just Really Good has allowed me to vastly expand my work in Canada as well as Australia, and I am so grateful for the continued connection to my homeland, because Aussie music is and always will be in my blood.
