   I provide direct oversight of the full cycle Disaster Services Program (Prepare, Respond & Recover) for a 31 County area in Iowa, Wisconsin & Illinois for the American Red Cross. I consistently deploy outside my Nebraska/Iowa Region when national disasters affect other areas of the United States in a leadership position. I manage local teams of several hundred volunteers who respond to individuals and families who have experienced a natural disaster such as a fire, tornado or flood. I managed the implementation of the Preparedness programs for the entire former Iowa Region and former Mid-West River Region. I supported the National Preparedness Campaigns such as the Home Fire Preparedness Campaign and The Pillowcase Project in each of the four Chapters in the former Iowa Region and Mid-West River Region. I am a leader, mentor and support to my colleagues and volunteers throughout my Region and beyond. I take pride in being a strength based individual and looking at the positives rather than having a negative bias attitude.
