About Jolene Jojo Melanson
In high school people called me “bossy” when it came to group projects, I knew how to lead and get everyone an A. Being “bossy” has led me to my latest endeavor, instructing a computer what to do by being a Front End Developer student at Promineo Tech. As a Front End Developer student for Promineo I have learned front end development, with a focus on JavaScript, and React. I have also returned Promineo Tech for further my knowledge in programming in Back End Development program where I will learn Java, Relational Databases with MySQL, and Web API Design with Spring Boot.I am a very particular, competitive, dedicated, and an adaptable worker. In my job history no matter what the job was I had a large focus on the quality of my work. I volunteered for the community service committee at one of my previous jobs where I used my creativity to create the volunteering shirts. I also volunteered for Kaizens which are 5 day meetings, it gave me an opportunity to branch out and express myself in a different setting. On a more personal note I enjoy documentaries, reading books about science, video games, and playing D&D mainly on Saturdays. I love my cats, love staying inside with some of my close friends or by myself for a night in.
