ABOUT JOANNE KNIGHT
I’m an EdD Candidate and SFHEA with over 20 years’ experience spanning secondary teaching, teacher education, and academic leadership. Currently Programme Director for the MA in Education with Pedagogy, I’ve also led international and UK PGCE/iPGCE pathways, supporting teachers across the globe to develop evidence-informed, values-centred practice.Alongside my doctoral research, I am completing the ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching, specialising in leadership development and coaching cultures in education. I’m passionate about reimagining education: helping teachers and leaders to flourish, embedding inclusive pedagogy, and exploring how metacognition, reflection, and coaching can transform practice.I believe in empathy, influence, and creative problem-solving (and yes, sometimes creative spelling) as catalysts for change. https://flourishingdoteducation.wordpress.com/#EdD #SFHEA #TeacherEducation #InclusivePedagogy #ExecutiveCoaching #Leadership
