About Jojo Farrell
With over 15 years of experience in education and technology, I am passionate about empowering educators and learners with innovative and accessible EdTech solutions. As a Google for Education Program Manager, I work with a diverse and talented team of engineers, designers, and educators to create and deliver products and services that enhance teaching and learning outcomes across the globe. I also bring my bilingual skills, fundraising expertise, and program development experience to support Google\'s mission of making education more inclusive, equitable, and relevant for all.Prior to joining Google, I was the Deputy Director of Instructional & Enterprise Technology at the NYC Department of Education, where I managed the professional development, support, and feedback for district-supported EdTech platforms. I also maintained relationships with key stakeholders across the central teams, and improved the visibility and accessibility of support structures for over educators and staff. Additionally, I am an Adjunct Professor at Brooklyn College, where I design and teach a graduate level course on the integration of EdTech into the bilingual classroom. Through these roles, I have developed and demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation.
