Responsible for corporate M&A and a large Loan book for corporates in India and cross border businesses in Latam, US, Turkey, Europe etc. • Negotiating with large public sector bank’s investment bank for broader cooperation / chaperoning businesses in investment banking in US. • Driving the strategic initiatives in Retail banking business in India. Sourcing FinTech’s for Propel Ventures Partners a Venture Capital arm of BBVA.• Managing all regulatory issues, filings, compliance, budgets & HR for all staff of the Rep office. Also managing the investments & performance of the Indian Employees Provident fund of BBVA Rep office.• Had conceptualized, negotiated and signed an MOU to buy a credit card company in India without any external M&A advisors. Also had negotiated to set up a proposed Asset Management Company and also set up the Foreign Institutional Investors business for BBVA. Ongoing negotiation with an important fintech for M&A transaction.• Over 12 years, successfully built the global business connectivity road-map linking BBVA Indian subcontinent with BBVA\'s global footprint across products, geographies & clients.• Signed an MOU with State Bank of India for broader cooperation with BBVA
