About Joi Beasley

My career has been dedicated to the practice, and discovery of industrial/organizational psychology: human performance and behavior in the workplace. This includes designing leadership growth programming while practically implementing and practicing. My super power is focusing on what drives an organization or professional and then liberating that. I give people permission to be who they are professionally and have fun doing it. When organizations and the professionals that make up that organization are given the opportunity to do what they do best, they THRIVE. Self-actualization is life-changing for people and organizations. Throughout my career, I’ve left a wake of great people and great organizations who have discovered and unleashed their internal power with spectacular results. In addition to running GOGO, consulting businesses through Alabaster, Alabaster facilitates and lead groups of accomplished CEO\'s, business owners, executives and professionals who want to enhance their leadership skills and put their companies on the path to rapid growth. Giving people a seat at the table where they can work out issues is very comforting because leaders often feel isolated. My groups are a safe place to walk through challenges knowing that there is complete privacy and support. Members help each other solve problems and examine opportunities. As Oliver Wendell Holmes said, “Many ideas grow better when transplanted into another mind than in the one where they sprang up.” Collective wisdom is very powerful, especially when it comes to making big decisions. In our groups, we are pragmatic, realistic, and strategic while honoring each member for who they are. As a facilitator and individual coach, I motivate and cheer people on as they make the exciting journey to greater success. I celebrate each win and inspire people to keep making progress toward their goals. I love a challenge.
