ABOUT JO HUDSON

A conscientious and results driven Head of Talent with extensive experience of leading end-to-end talent strategies across complex, fast-moving organisations, both nationally and globally. My background spans in-house resourcing and executive search, giving me a strong commercial lens and a deep understanding of how effective talent and capability development drive business performance.Alongside talent acquisition and talent management, I am focusing on Learning & Development, building capability at every stage of the colleague lifecycle. This includes early careers programmes, structured onboarding, manager development, succession planning and targeted learning initiatives that support performance, engagement and long-term retention.Highly self-motivated, driven and used to working at pace with an emphasis on coaching and motivating others, championing an exceptional candidate experience, and driving cost and process efficiencies, as well as having a creative mind and a can-do attitude.I have demonstrated the ability to source great people and add value to the businesses I have worked for. My focus is on reducing agency spend, improving fill/time to hire, reducing cost per hire, increasing staff retention, improving candidate experience and expanding networks whilst maintaining the vision and values of the company I am working for whilst always ensuring fairness.My approach is practical, people-centred and outcomes-focused -ensuring the right people are hired, developed and supported to succeed, today and in the future.
