I retired from Pfizer as Group President & Chief Business Officer in 2022 after almost 35 years of service.As a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team I latterly served as Chief Business Officer responsible for Business Development, Corporate Strategy, pipeline Portfolio & Decision Analysis, and Patient access.Prior to this role, I was the Group President of Pfizer Innovative Health, which comprised six global business units: Internal Medicine, Inflammation & Immunology, Oncology, Rare Disease, Vaccines and Consumer Healthcare. Previously, I was the Group President for Pfizer Essential Health where I oversaw a broad portfolio of more than 600 products with a global reach in 160 countries. I am currently a member of the Board of Directors of Novartis AG (NVS), Johnson Controls International (JCI), and Arvinas Inc (ARVN). I previously served on the Boards of Haleon PLC, Imbria Pharmaceuticals and BIO (Biotechnology Innovation Organization) and as a member of the UK Government bioscience working group, The Life Sciences Council.I hold a BSc in Biological Science from Glasgow University and an MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School and am married and have three adult daughters.
