SilverStone Group became part of HUB in December of 2019. Many of our key owners reinvested at this time to create the Great Plains region of HUB which now oversees NE, SD, ND and MN based out of Omaha, Nebraska. At HUB we use data analytics gathered from our own research to show companies that when they understand the true costs currently affecting their bottom line, or those that could put them out of business if occurred, that they must change the way they think about risk. While insurance is the most expensive way to finance risk, we make sure those costs are minimalized using benchmarking data and then focus our attention on managing the uninsurable risks and exposures that drive losses using a variety of internal resources and partnering advisors. The financial impact of our strategies working with the entire spectrum of healthcare, education, law, banking, technology and organizations with professional/reputational risk is something we bring to our ERM assessment each time we work with a new client. The data on how those risks affected performance, before and after, is something we use to help new and existing clients prioritize finite resources and learn from the mistakes of others. The Great Plains practice now has the advantage of integrating all the advisory companies HUB has aggregated to bolster our evolution from selling products to advice.
