Progressing in my career, I served as the Public Affairs Superintendent for the Utah Air National Guard\'s 151st Air Refueling Wing, collaborating with senior leaders on information campaigns, policy interpretation, and strategic planning. In 2021, I enhanced my expertise by completing the rigorous Public Affairs Communication Strategy Qualification (PACS-Q) course at the Defense Information School in Fort Meade, MD, and graduating from the Senior NCO Academy at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL.Relocating to Salem, Oregon in 2022, I assumed the role of Public Information Officer and spokesperson for the City of Salem before joining the U.S. Forest Service\'s National Press Team in Washington, D.C.
