Casual list shaper (part time). Perform basic tasks involved with the maintenance, set up, and operation of printing presses. Tasks include-Obtaining press plates from plate production room, sorting, spotting plates, and making PIC aware of when all plates required for production have been acquired and spotted-Overseeing conveyor, ensuring machine stays jam free, and obtaining samples for quality assurance periodically-Assist journeymen when press goes down due to web (paper) breaks-Keep entire press area clean-Obtain and spot post scripts, and inspect new papers for compliance-Maintenance shifts: perform various tasks depending on a particular shift, including roller cleaning, folder cleaning, reel room cleaning etc so that press operation the following production shift runs smoothly, and production quality is maintained.
