About John Tusch
Seeking a position that brings together my background in teaching, leading, entrepreneurship, project management, technology, and customer service.A career educator, I teach English and Computer Science in the Hartford Public Schools, where my students continue to demonstrate significant improvement on district assessments. Prior to this, I was the Chief Instructor at Steve DeMasco\'s Shaolin Studios of Fairfield. I began this small business and established a proven track record of growth, making the business profitable in just seven months, and growing it to more than in gross sales. In 2013 was named SDSS National Instructor of the Year. I am a web designer with a portfolio of small local business and personal web sites. Before this, I enjoyed classroom success in English, Music, Theatre, Technology, and the Gifted. During those years I also engaged in curriculum development, writing and revising courses at the middle and high school level. I also engaged in professional development, primarily in the area of instructional technology. My career has been spent in service of others, helping them grow and reach their goals.
