Supports the Director, Johns Hopkins Hospital General Services & Materials Management and is responsible for the review, analysis, and internal negotiations for the acquisition or lease of capital equipment, products, equipment evaluations, and related supplies for Johns Hopkins enterprises. Evaluates acquisition and financing leases verses purchase decisions; and conduct product life cycle management/obsolescence risk analysis are compliant with JHHS policies. Liaisons with all affiliate departments, Health Care Supply Innovations, Johns Hopkins Corporate Legal and all facility departments regarding capital purchases. Assures the efficient, effective and financially successful operation for all JHHS capital projects consistent with objectives of the Johns Hopkins Health System. Develops and implements Functional Unit objectives and activities in support of financial business decision-making: 1) long-range/business planning process and guidelines, 2) business unit financial model and forecast development, 3) program/product development analysis, 4) new venture evaluation, 5) pricing structure strategy and change assessments. Approves request for capital/evaluation/lease acquisitions for all Johns Hopkins Health System entities.
