About John Parker

With a passion for creative problem solving and an artist’s background, I’ve been fortunate to create advertising for some of the world’s most iconic brands, including ESPN, Google, Delta, Nissan, GAP, Hilton, MINI, Verizon, IKEA, Heinz, Air Jordan, Burger King, Bud Light, and more. Most recently, I spent two years at Havas New York leading creative on Keurig and Silk. For Keurig, I launched their new iced coffee brewer with a campaign starring Anna Kendrick. I also collaborated with Kevin Costner on a multi-year campaign promoting his Horizon Blend coffee and his Horizon film saga. On Silk, I launched the “Feel Planty Good” platform, kicking it off with a Super Bowl spot featuring Jeremy Renner singing James Brown’s “I Feel Good”, his first acting role since the accident that almost took his life. The campaign continued with a series of original songs by Carter Vail, earning a Cannes Lion the following year. Previously, I freelanced as Executive Creative Director at TBWA\\Chiat\\Day, where I led Nissan’s first Super Bowl campaign in seven years, starring Eugene Levy, Brie Larson, Danai Gurira, and Dave Bautista. The spot ranked #3 on FastCo’s Best Super Bowl Ads list. I also oversaw Hilton’s first global brand platform, “Hilton. For the Stay.” featuring Paris Hilton and voiced by Catherine O’Hara. The campaign won “Best Rebrand” and “Social Campaign of the Year” at AdAge’s A-List & Creativity Awards. Before that, I spent 14 years as a Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy New York, where I led award-winning work for Bud Light, including the “Dilly Dilly” phenomenon. Morgan Stanley credited the campaign with increasing ABI’s market share for the first time in nearly a decade. On Delta Air Lines, I helped transform the image of the recently bankrupt airline, producing campaigns that earned record brand affinity and helped land the CMO on the cover of Adweek as a “Brand Genius.” On ESPN, I created over 150 spots, including work for the legendary “This is SportsCenter” campaign. Earlier in my career, I was part of the “golden years” at Crispin Porter + Bogusky Miami, working on IKEA, MINI, and truth, and helping win the Burger King and VW accounts. My portfolio ranges from 10 Super Bowl commercials, viral TikTok challenges, and even a cure for jet lag. My work has been recognized by The New York Times, USA Today, CNN, 60 Minutes, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and has even hung on the walls of MoMA in New York. I’ve been honored by every major industry show, including 14 Cannes Lions and the Kelly Grand Prize.
