ABOUT JOHN BUTLER

I am a professional investor and board member with experience investing across the capital structure, structuring and negotiating bespoke capital solutions, and managing both control and minority interest investments for industry agnostic, special situations / event driven private equity vehicles. I have a passion for partnering with others to strategically drive operational improvements and build long-term value. Prior to professional investing, I was both an investment banker (financial restructuring) and a consultant (operational restructuring). I advised distressed public and private companies in several landmark and complex transactions (in and out-of-court), executed asset sales, facilitated mergers, raised various forms of capital, and restructured over $45 billion of debt.
