About John Strolia
John is a broadcast professional & National Emmy Award winning television editor who\'s worked in commercial, sports, long-form documentaries, daytime and prime time broadcasting. John began his television career at Polycom Telecommunications as an assistant editor working on several nationally televised shows and commercials. A move to MPI Media Group in the early 90\'s opened the door to long-form editing and fulfillment of many documentaries and specialty programs. Along the way, John has worked with CBS Sports, AT & T, McDonalds, Sportsvision and many other post-production facilities. John spent nearly 20 years as a video editor and later managing editor for the Oprah Winfrey Show. From the \"Favorite Things Shows\" to \"Oprah\'s Book Club\", the \"Oscar Specials\" to \"Oprah\'s Australian Extravaganza,\" John was there throughout. until the sunset of the show. John continued working for Harpo Studios, supplying television content for the OWN Network until December of 2015, when Harpo closed its doors on their Chicago operation.
