Sydney-born and U.S-based for 15 years, Johnston began his career in investigation and security, before expanding into international business leadership, gaining further experience in distribution, manufacturing, technology and business services. He is currently CEO of ILA Global, an international business advisory firm based in Los Angeles, providing fractional CFO expertise, bookkeeping, and strategic services—including investment planning, merger and exit strategies, and key introductions to private equity and venture capital networks.Johnston is a lifelong entrepreneur and investor who also mentors, lectures, and advises across several prominent technology accelerators and educational institutions. Outside of work, he enjoys riding and racing motorcycles and spending time with family and friends.
