I am the founder, owner, director of marketing, business development manager, director of WOW! and CEO of Real Time Automation (RTA) in Pewaukee, WI. That’s a lot of titles but being the “Director of WOW!” is one of my most important responsibilities. It means that I am responsible for creating an environment where RTA innovatively applies technology to our customer’s problems and delivers straight forward, uncomplicated solutions and a WOW! experience. Spend time in our office and you’ll see that RTA is not about products. It is not even about service. RTA is about the hero we serve every day; the manufacturing engineer working long hours, under intense pressure, fighting complexity and lengthy deployments often with inadequate support from product vendors. We’ve built a team of motivated, happy, enthusiastic individuals committed to making our hero more successful, efficient and productive. Nothing is more important than their commitment to our four values; DO WHAT’S RIGHT, MAKE IT SIMPLE, KEEP LEARNING and TAKE OWNERSHIP. You can’t be on our team if you don’t live those values.So “who am I?” The more complete answer to that is really found in the document I’ve attached to my LinkedIn profile entitled “J Rinaldi extended bio” but really, I’m a writer. I write blogs, articles, books and a newsletter (Best Darn newsletter) that is a must-read for about 1400 automation people (it comes in the US mail), I’ve authored seven books, maybe a thousand blogs, 30 or so trade articles, a bunch of videos and lots more. I found that I have a knack for explaining very technical concepts in simple and direct ways.
