About Johnson Luma

I currently work as an Environmental Engineer at the Kentucky Division for Air Quality -> Permit Review Branch -> Chemical Section, where I conduct multi-level engineering reviews of permit applications to determine compliance with the Clean Air Act and associated Federal and State Air Quality Regulations to ensure emissions are not exceeded at levels that would be detrimental to public health and the environment.I am a graduate of the Ohio State University where I completed my Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a Graduate Minor in Public Policy & Management. For my Master\'s thesis, I worked to determine environmental exposure to combustion-related aerosols by performing Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry and statistical analyses on dust samples taken from the home of asthmatic residents of Buffalo, New York.I previously graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and secondary major in French & Francophone Studies. My civil engineering concentrations were in environmental and transportation engineering. Some of my undergraduate experiences included studying abroad in the French Alps during the spring semester of 2014, serving as an academic tutor for my campus, and conducting research through programs sponsored by the United States Department of Energy, the National Science Foundation, and my university\'s Civil & Environmental Engineering Department.
