ABOUT JANINE JOHNSON
I am a detailed and conscientious Lawyer with over five (5) years legal experience in various roles such as Associate Attorney & Foreign Legal Consultant. As a Foreign Legal Consultant, I was the most junior member of a team that specialized in resolving complex legal disputes. My role was to research complex legal issues to assist the group in resolving complex legal disputes. As an Attorney at Law, my main areas of practice were in Litigation, Conveyancing, Probate, Corporate Law and Commercial Law. I received my early education in the U.K. I attended the Brinsworth Comprehensive High School in Rotherham. I have a background in Business, I received my Associate Degree in Business Administration from the University College of the Caribbean, in Jamaica where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I went on to do the LLB program and graduated with honours from the University of the West Indies. After graduating from Norman Manley Law School, I moved to St. Kitts & Nevis. I have appeared as Counsel before the Court of Appeal, High Court and Resident Magistrate Court and I have been called to the Bars of Ontario (Canada), St. Kitts & Nevis, and Jamaica. I possess excellent time-management and organizational skills in addition to above average proof-reading skills with a keen eye for detail.
