ABOUT LEON J. JOHNSON

In my first semester of college, my group won “.” The prize was lunch with our professor and a book on presentation skills (which I still have today!). Looking back, that moment was an early sign that I had a knack for creating content that connects with people, a skill that would eventually shape my entire career. Today, I work in Learning and Talent Development. I collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ’.I often joke that I’m not a creative person because my artistic skills never advanced beyond stick figures. But give me a complex learning challenge, and that’s when my creativity comes alive.Over the past ten years, I’ve led initiatives that created measurable impact, including: • Co-led a multi-year learning and development initiative that will reach more than employees through 13 instructor-led and eLearning programs, consistently rated among the most effective learning experiences offered. • Planned and delivered professional development conferences (virtual and in-person) for 200+ employees, with over 97% of attendees recommending the experience to others. • Designed and implemented a formal mentorship program, with 98% of participants recommending it to a colleague. • Collaborated to launch a Learning Management System, where I later managed 100+ offerings and analytics post-launch.I may not be able to draw masterpieces, but.As the African proverb says, “Small sparks start big fires.”.Let’s connect!
