Duties: • Lead the regulatory reporting team and ensure that all required reports were duly submitted on time to avoid sanctions.(Financial Stability, liquidity, Capital adequacy, sectorial analysis of the bank’s loan portfolio, concentration analysis) • Supported in the preparation of management reports in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and for management decision-making. • Providing support and maintenance of strong internal control in the team for sound practice and in response to the expectations of management, internal/external auditors. Managed end of year audit processes. • Financial Analysis and Forecasting. • Accounts/GLs proofing to ensure that all anomalies were detected early for resolution. • Provided assistance in the preparation of the banks Funds Transfer Pricing Report (FTP) • Managed the bank’s loan portfolio (including provisioning as required by IFRS 9 and the Regulator). • Responded to queries from the Regulatory bodies such as the Central Bank and Securities and Exchange Commission • Offered training to staff members on financial matters and guidance on any changes in financial policies and procedures, particularly IFRS and regulatory directives. • Managed the bank’s intercompany/affiliates transactions (receivables, payables, Nostro, Vostro, etc.) to ensure that payments were made on time or netted-off where necessary to manage the foreign exchange risk. • Lead a number of projects including the transition from EFASS to ORASS
