I am an engaging, bilingual executive leader with a deep passion for optimizing supply chain management and driving operational excellence. With a proven track record of success across international markets, I have consistently delivered significant improvements in cost reduction, risk management, supplier performance, and team effectiveness. Throughout my career, I’ve built and managed high-performing teams, negotiated impactful supplier agreements, and developed strategies that align with both corporate goals and global market needs.Before recently returning to the U.S, I served as the Global Deputy Director at Nissan Motor Ltd. in Japan, where I oversaw a $4 billion direct spend and managed a 50-person team focused on key commodities including Harness, Autonomous Drive (ADAS), and Electronics. In this role, I was instrumental in establishing global sourcing strategies, optimizing supplier panels, and leading initiatives that drive cost savings and enhance supplier performance. By fostering strong supplier partnerships and implementing strategic, data-driven approaches, I successfully contributed to Nissan’s global expansion and future product innovations.My career journey has seen me excel in diverse roles, such as leading Purchasing functions at Nissan Mexico, where I managed a $5 billion spend and 250+ headcount. I played a key role in compliance management, cost-saving initiatives, and organizational cultural shifts, consistently surpassing targets and implementing best practices to improve efficiency across the organization.In addition to my hands-on leadership experience, I believe in fostering a culture of continuous learning. I model a leadership style that emphasizes coaching and collaboration, helping individuals and teams to reach their full potential while achieving strategic objectives.With an MBA, a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management and Spanish, and certifications in Automotive Auditing, I am equipped with the expertise to tackle complex supply chain challenges and drive measurable results.
