ABOUT JOHN SCOTT

Costume SupervisorJohn Scott has had an illustrious career in Theatre, Film and TV. As a Costume Supervisor he worked on TV hits including Poirot, Catherine Cookson’s Black Candle and The Big Battalions before going to work on Hollywood Blockbusters. His films include Four Weddings and a Funeral, Interview with a Vampire, Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Notting Hill and Tomb Raider to name but a few!TV PresenterIn John stepped out from behind the camera and for 10 years became ITV’s This Morning’s Fashion Expert and Presenter. During that time John also appeared other TV shows including Weddings Live and How Do I Look and he even had a one man show in London’s West End An Evening’s Intercourse with John Scott. John confirmed his place in front of the camera by becoming a presenter on various channels before becoming the face of Sewing Quarter in 2017 where he was able to bring the two loves of TV and Sewing together. John Scott’s Sewing WorldAt Sewing Quarter John developed a dedicated and ardent fan base and in January 2020 launched John Scott’s Sewing World to share his love of sewing and extensive experience of sewing to bring together the sewing community by offering them blogs, interviews, videos, patterns and more from the dedicated John Scott’s Sewing World website and various social media platforms including Facebook and You Tube.The FutureJohn Scott’s Sewing World TV show launched on Crafter’s TV in March 2020 but this, along with other TV initiatives are currently on hold.
