Hi, I\'m John! I entered the staffing industry directly after graduating from Ohio State in 2015 (Go Bucks!) and found a passion for learning about different people\'s interests and careers. That passion fuels my work as a Professional Recruiter for our National Services team - in which I help professionals across the technology and engineering spectrum identify exciting opportunities with Fortune 500 companies nationwide. In addition to connecting candidates to openings, I also provide resume and interview coaching to help candidates best position themselves to win the opportunity in front of them.Aside from recruiting, I maintain a host of ever-changing interests and hobbies. In my free time you are likely to catch me doing any of the following- Watching and reviewing movies on Letterboxd (it\'s like Twitter for movie reviews!)- Hosting a board game night / running a game of Dungeons & Dragons - Claiming this is finally Xavier Men\'s Basketball\'s first Final Four season - Reading almost anything - I gladly accept recommendations for books, articles, comics, you name it and I\'ll try it - Binging Bravo reality TV shows with my wife - Cooking up a new recipe in the kitchen - Falling down Wikipedia rabbit holes - Most recently: using Unity and C#, I made and published a video game to Steam!If you are an IT or Engineering professional of any kind seeking out career advice, an employer seeking consultation on how to improve your recruitment methods, or if you just want to connect, feel free to shoot me a message any time.
