Financial responsibility for an EPC portfolio of two Energy From Waste projects. Full responsibility:Full accounts payable and receivable process, including all client milestone billing, and supplier/subcontractor payments (multi currency).In collaboration with HR, monthly employee payroll obligations.Tax compliance: VAT, CIT, CIS (Construction Industry Scheme).Monthly closing responsibilities: Progress/WIP calculator (Work in progress).Revenue recognition based on % completion per project (IFRS15).Monthly lease entries (IFRS16).Monthly closing revelations. Monthly management account reporting, P&L & BS.Cash Management:Bi-Weekly cash forecast (multi currency).Group cash pooling participation.Currency hedge execution/accounting (IFRS9) selling GBP and buying EUR currency.Annual closing:Year end reporting and final Corporation tax computations in coordination with external tax consultants.Year end audit and financial statement coordination, delivery and filing on companies house.Contract management:Both upstream with EPC contracts and downstream with Subcontracts for all financial related matters.Procurement: Finance participation in large contracts negotiating related to security packages, ie Bonds, Insurance and Parent company guarantees (where required).Employee:Management of a small finance team.
