ABOUT JOHN ELLIS
Experienced Industry Director with broad experience in the printing and direct marketing industry. I have direct experience of turning failing businesses around and finding the right kind of work for a business. Experienced in managing varied workforce from highly skilled specialist staff to general shop floor workers in both large and small organisations, in both production and administrative roles. Having gained hands on experience at all levels of marketing by actually doing it myself and being in the industry from the age of 16, I consider my specialties to be: IT/ data processing / data manipulation, database structures and architecture, print finishing, polywrapping, envelope enclosing and of course sales strategy. My postal expertise on formats, sortation, timings and processes is second to none in the industry and I am quickly able to ascertain the very best way to product print and direct mail projects depending upon the clients requirements. Through my exposure on various industry boards and councils I help guide, lobby, caress or sometimes force issues so that we can help improve the great services that industry has to offer. I am probably most well known for having the worst taste in shirts and it is well known that if you see a garish colour with huge paisley patterns and big collars then it is more than likely me on the other side of the room that is affecting your vision!
