Unbound Visual Arts, Inc. was founded in 2012 in Allston-Brighton to enliven and to stimulate the creative economy with contemporary visual art for all by exhibiting, educating and sharing. Unbound is now the fastest growing visual arts non-profit in Greater Boston with over 200 members and over 65 curated themed exhibitions completed.As the first Executive Director I\'m responsible for carrying out Unbound\'s purpose, goals and policies. I\'m also responsible for budget/financial management and all federal, state and City reporting; maintaining a membership database, maintaining all contact and donor records; updating the website and other media platforms; producing fundraising appeals; preparing grant applications; acknowledging contributions; hiring, training and managing all volunteers; managing and/or curating all exhibitions in conjunction with the Exhibitions Committee; overseeing all sales; overseeing all programs and events; drafting a business plan for consideration by the Board of Directors; establishing and implementing fundraising and marketing plans in conjunction with the Finance/Fundraising Committee; preparing board agendas and attending all board meetings and providing all related reports to the board; and engaging, hiring and managing all staff, contractors, contractors and consultants.
