Led efforts to modernize nearly 50-year-old international nonprofit to focus on education, governmental advocacy and networking programs. Rebuilt Association Staff – Successfully developed team to manage two major industry events within six months of assuming position. The GAMA Expo, a B2B trade show with attendees and the Origins Game Fair, a B2C show with attendees and 400 exhibitors. Restructured Organization to Expand Membership and Diversify Revenue – Led a two-year effort to amend bylaws to allow us to nearly double membership to more than 1,700 companies in nearly 40 countries during my tenure. Developed new member services and communication tools – Increased educational programing to include a wider range of topics reflective of member\'s needs, created quarterly print magazine, launched online GAMA Resource Hub with more than 80 recorded seminars, research papers and member resources. Established Horizon Fellowship, a nine-month mentorship program to create success pathways for marginalized and underrepresented members in our industry. In the four years of the program, we have mentored nearly 50 companies. Created associations advocacy program – Developed collaborations with the other associations and groups to provide legislative testimony, letters to the editor, and op-ed pieces advocating for a range of issues affecting the tabletop games industry. Led delegation of members to DC to educate elected officials on the negative impact on tariffs on the tabletop game industry. Expanded Industry Collaborations to support Sustainability and Environmentally Friendly Production – Serve on the advisory board of the STRATEGIES Project, which is funded by a €30 million grant from Horizon Europe and the UK Research and Innovation Fund. The project supports Europe’s game development industries in making vital changes to their business and production practices in support of reaching the emissions targets of the European Green Deal.
