About John Lamb

I have a decade of experience in software development with significant expertise in innovation. I\'ve led teams as both an engineer and a manager. On any team, I seek to create the most value by tackling high-leverage opportunities and plugging the team\'s skill gap. Most recently I worked in Indeed\'s Incubator where I helped build and lead a product from initial idea to successful exit. Products were run like startups, complete with funding timelines and the need to develop MVPs to achieve product-market fit. I have worked on DARPA contracts for AI research assisting with managing and deploying ML models.With a background in engineering outside of software, I take a different approach to solving problems. I consider myself a problem solver before a software engineer. I seek to identify the goal at a root level and then use my and the team\'s available resources to craft a plan to best accomplish it.
