Accomplishments: • Analysis of department processes to successfully implement a reorganization of the department to properly channel the workflow, key job function sectoring permitted more efficient work processing due to a greater consistency of assigned work; this increased productivity and permitted effective decentralization of decision-making • Worked with actuary and legal counsel to timely and effectively develop new markets in MD and MA, worked with state regulators, policy and procedures development, and IT rate system testing • As the Chief Compliance Officer, oversight of Company documents to Florida regulators for required declaration page, manual and binding guidelines revisions • Analyzed loss centers in the book of business to enforce proper adherence to underwriting guidelines and proper valuation of policies • Managed the automation of incoming mail processing by instituting a scanning system which enabled tracking of documents, and more rapid processing of checks • Instituted automated payment by phone system enabling a 15% percent reduction in incoming calls and better utilization of personnel • Implementation of annual associate review to bring consistency to development needs; Formalized associate training program to include cross-training of all department areas; this permitted greater associate advancement due to their increased knowledge of all sectors of the department
