Every Kid Sports, formerly KIDS In The GAME is a nonprofit focused on inspiring kids to thrive in life through sports. We empower more young people to live up to their full potential through positive sports experiences that form active, healthy habits for a lifetime.The statistics are staggering: 33% of American kids are overweight or obese by the 3rd grade. Today, too many kids grow up with limited access to physical activity due to cuts in PE and the costs of pay-to-play sports. The aim of EveryKidsSports.org is to increase access for all kids to developmentally appropriate activity through partnering with communities and corporations to reduce financial barriers to participation.Every Kids Sports PASS and running programs inspire kids to get out and play before, during, and after school. By being engaged in organized physical activities, kids greatly reduce the risks of early pregnancy, academic failure, substance use, and other obstacles to fulfillment while increasing their physical literacy, resiliency, and resourcefulness.The support provided to kids also benefits their communities through increasing active membership in leagues, youth sports organizations, and businesses dedicated to healthy lifestyles.
