About Johnny Corpuz
Born in Manila and raised in Sydney, Johnny brings a diverse perspective to his role as the Head of Communications Strategy for BBDO, based out of New York.Over the years, he has worked at creative agencies, media agencies and full service shops ranging from small independents to global holding companies in Sydney, New York, Melbourne and Los Angeles. He believes that strategy is just a fancy word for focus and that to be effective, strategy needs to be simple, create action and solve the correct problem in the most compelling way.Johnny is committed to creating an inclusive environment that encourages everyone to bring their full selves to the table. He is also passionate about recruiting and mentoring the next generation through his work with ADCOLOR and MAIP. And is committed to championing marketing effectiveness through his involvement as co-chair of the Effie Council.One day he hopes to run a marathon on every continent.
