Perform or oversee initial patient evaluations and evaluates response to treatment interventions- Provides direction to therapy personnel in the implementation of treatment programs with on-going reviews to ensure consistency and effectiveness within the regulatory statutes and rules to the practice of rehabilitation services- Provide relevant program knowledge, analytical leadership, administrative guidance and advice in the day-to-day management of therapy programs- Provide in-service training related to rehabilitation services to staff and new employees- Participate in all facility meetings, stand-ups, and PPS (future PDPM) meetings- Oversee PPS management; or manage the current mandated CMS reimbursement system- Participate in all appropriate facility meetings, such as stand-ups, and PPS /PDPM management meeting- Participates in the development of quality interdisciplinary treatment programs that meet the needs of the residents- Coordinates recruiting and staffing needs of the facility with the Administrator, Director of Staff - Development, and Regional Manager- Resolves patient and staff issues with the assistance of the interdisciplinary team- Assists in identifying supplies and equipment needed for personnel to provide effective services in a cost-effective manner- Ensures appropriate staffing ratios to meet productivity guidelines of the company- Monitoring of service logs along with productivity to ensure accurate and compliant billing practices- Actively participates in the annual review of the employees in the facility as well as disciplinary actions of the employees as warranted- Provides constructive recommendations regarding opportunities to improve company policies and procedures and services provided- Promotes a positive attitude to staff, within staff, and to the community regarding the company, its mission statement, philosophies, and goals
