ABOUT JOHNNY MCCANN
I’ve been part of Sky Sports News since 2014, gaining a wealth of experience across the media production spectrum. Over the years, I’ve contributed to numerous high-profile stories and developed a deep understanding of both the technical and creative sides of sports media. As well as producing from a studio, I have also been a Live producer at several high-profile sporting events. Mainly boxing including fights such as Anthony Joshua v Daniel Dubois, Chris Eubank Jr v Conor Benn and Tyson Fury v Dillian Whyte. In the last few years I\'ve also done some reporting across a range of sports such as football, darts, boxing and golf. With my career highlight so far coming when I helped cover 2025 Open Championship at Portrush for Sky Sports News.
