I write support resources for people whose lives are affected by chronic illness. These resources are articles, websites, emails, videos, brochures, call guides—all grounded in principles of behavioral science and human dynamics.I write to help people:• Build intrinsic motivation to improve their health behavior• Develop skills that support long-term health and quality of life• Advocate for themselves and communicate with their healthcare team• Take a realistic, goal-oriented approach to behavior changeIn every resource, I try to inspire people to action. It’s not always easy. Chronic illness can be overwhelming, and it doesn’t help that I have to work within the strict regulations of pharma and healthcare marketing. I do my best to balance out the legal and medical jargon with clear language, an actionable message, and a friendly tone. Aside from writing patient support materials, my responsibilities as Lead Behavioral Copywriter include:• Collaborating with art directors, behaviorists, account directors, and strategists• Presenting creative projects to clients• Participating in medical, legal, and regulatory reviews• Onboarding and mentoring other behavioral copywritersI also write and produce podcasts for Inizio Evoke Drive and its clients, and I contribute photography and writing to company social media.
