SKILLS
ABOUT JOHNNY DUNNE
I build clarity, capability and momentum in complex, regulated environments.I’m a senior project and change professional with over 20 years’ experience in UK wealth management, combining deep client-facing advisory roots with strategic, operational and technology-enabled delivery.I currently work at Aegon Financial Planning, part of Origen Financial Services, shaping future propositions, processes and operating models that are commercially viable, regulator-ready and usable at scale. I’m particularly effective at translating between strategy and execution, and between technology, regulation and people. When things are ambiguous or contested, I bring structure, judgement and forward motion.I recently completed an Executive MBA, sharpening my approach to strategy, leadership, ethics and cross-sector learning. The biggest gain has been durable learning habits: curiosity, reflection and the ability to transfer ideas across industries. I’m especially interested in the thoughtful application of technology and AI to improve decision-making, scale expertise and deliver better outcomes rather than change for its own sake.I’m values-led and delivery-focused. I believe strong leadership builds accountability and autonomy, not dependency. I work best in environments that value trust, clarity and long-term thinking.Alongside my professional role, I chair a local school governing body and care deeply about education, agency and community impact.
